My Avatar 3D Debuts at Regasu Science Festa 2025: A WAKUWAKU Festival Shaping the Future

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Regasu Science Festa 2025 was held at Shinjuku Cosmic Center by the Shinjuku Foundation for Creation of Future.
As a special program, My Avatar 3D made its debut, offering participants an exciting hands-on experience using the latest 3D scanning technology.

The Regasu Science Festa is a popular annual science event primarily aimed at elementary and junior high school students living in Shinjuku Ward.
As the number of applicants for the “My Avatar 3D” experience exceeded capacity, participation on the day was limited to those selected through an advance lottery.
Although it was a cold season, many visitors came from early in the morning, and we had the pleasure of seeing the smiles of a great number of participants.

In just a 0.2-second scan and under a minute of processing, a realistic 3D avatar of the user comes alive on a smartphone, bringing cheers and excitement from children and their family.

Their completed digital twins (realistic 3D avatars) are placed into pre-prepared content within a dedicated app, where they can perform a variety of actions—such as flying through the sky, breakdancing, or growing into giants to fight and protect the city.

Because the avatars can also be sent via messaging apps, many participants were seen sharing the experience on the spot with their families and friends, using them like stickers.
Through this program, we were able to deliver an entertaining experience powered by the latest technology.

While this event featured content already available on MAG.NET, we can also develop and provide original custom content tailored to specific events.
